Information Tickets and Tours Program

Each base's ITT program differs because available resources and space. The program is governed by Air Force Instruction (AFI) 34-109, Air Force Community Activities Centers.

(Note: HQ AFSVA is writing and will publish an AFI specifically for ITT Programs when Leisure Travel implementation is complete).

A comprehensive ITT program includes four basic components tied to the program goals. In priority order, they include:

Awareness Activities

These activities and services can include videos, tours, informational brochures, displays and various media designed to help the customer become aware of the entertainment activities available to meet their interests. These are designed to stimulate the market demand and communicate the diversity of the ITT program.

Tours

These tours are designed to provide knowledge and entertainment. Tours are based on customer demand, and include local entertainment attractions and sites. Tours can either be for sightseeing or educational purposes.

Tickets/Resale

The ITT program is dedicated to providing discount tickets for theme parks, entertainment (concerts, theater, movies), historical sites, and local venue attractions. Additionally, the ITT program has major theme park tickets from many parts of the country, and discount vouchers for various attractions. This ensures that customers can have one stop-shopping for all their ticket/entertainment needs. The resale outlets stock a variety of products ranging from travel items, to holiday and special occasion needs. Resale merchandise is always based on customer needs.

Travel

The ITT Program offers a full range of travel services around the world. Beginning April 2001 Air Force ITT Offices will begin to phase in complete travel services at all locations worldwide. This service will offer airline, hotel, rental car, trains, tours and cruises to meet your every need. An Air Force Services ITT web site will also be available for those individuals feeling comfortable in being able to make their own reservations.
