The Air Force Golf Program
is a division of Air Force Services, a global, multi-million-dollar
recreation and entertainment corporation operating within the
United States Air Force.
To support the readiness, leisure, fitness and recreational needs
of over 2 million military and civilian Air Force personnel, Air
Force Services operates 68 golf facilities worldwide. Air Force
courses are acknowledged as some of the finest facilities within
the Department of Defense golf structure.
Qualified managers, some of who are PGA professionals, individually
manage each course. They have the responsibility, with assistance
from supporting staff members, to overseas all functions of the
operation inclusive of course maintenance, restaurants, pro shop,
driving range, carts, and equipment rental.
Today’s Air Force golf courses offer programs, promotions,
and services on par with the civilian golf industry. Managers
operate in a progressive as well as a traditional environment
that give them the flexibility to provide a unique operation based
on individual management styles and creativity.
As part of the Air Force team, career opportunities span the
world. Most are located within the United States, while others
are located overseas in countries such as Germany, Italy, England,
Japan, and Korea.
