This Design Guide (AFSFDG) provides planning, design, construction, sustainment, restoration, and modernization criteria, and applies to US Air Force Services projects. AFSFDGs will be used for all Air Force projects and work for other customers where appropriate. The Guide implements mandatory construction policies and processes approved for Visiting Quarters (VQ). These standards advance the goal of achieving consistent, enhanced quality facilities and at all installations.
