Q. What is the Air Force Club Membership Scholarship?
A. The Air Force Club Scholarship is a members only program developed to assist the club members and their family members defray the cost of higher education.

Q. How much is the scholarship?
A. The Club Scholarship consist of 25 winner and each winner receive a $1,000 award.

Q. Do I need to be an Air Force Club member to apply?
A. Yes, this is a club member benefit and in order to participate you must be a current Air Force club member or family member (spouse, son, daughter, stepson and stepdaughter) who have been accepted by or enrolled in an accredited college or university for entry during the fall of 2010 term as a part-time or full-time student.

Q. When can I apply?
A. Starting on Monday, 3 May 2010

Q. What documents do I need to apply?
A. Assuming that you are a club member, you need to submit a 500 word essay on the assigned topic, complete the entry form and provide current college/university acceptance letter for new students or official transcripts for those already enrolled.

Q. Where do I get the entry forms?
A. Entry forms and rules and eligibility information can be obtained from any Installation Force Support Activity (Club, Bowling, Fitness.....) or at www.afclubs.net after 30 April 2010.

Q. How long do I have to apply?
A. You have two months to apply. The program starts on 3 May and finishes 1 July 2010.

Q. Where do I mail or turn in my essay and entry form?
A. All essays and entry form must be hand carried and turned in to your local Force Support Installation Point of Contact (POC) by 1 July. DO NOT mail directly to HQ AFSVA, entries received will be disqualified.

Q. Who is my POC at the base?
A. Each base is different but if you contact your club manager or the installation marketing director they will be able to assist you.

Q. When are the winners going to be announced?
A. The winners will be announced on 17 September 2010, and scholarship awards will be mailed soon after to the installation Force Support Commander/Director for distribution.
