Services Business Management Specialist


THIS POSITION IS FOR INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY

The Air Force Services Career Field Management is seeking professionals with an Associates Degree in hotel/restaurant management, club management, professional hospitality management, or related fields with a GPA of 2.00 or higher and a minimum 2 years club experience. Candidates must have demonstrated business skills, leadership potential, multiple interests and interpersonal skills, willingness to accept career mobility, flexibility, team-player ability and an action-oriented, “can-do” attitude. A career with the Air Force allows the opportunity for worldwide travel and career-long professional development. Applicants must be United States citizens.

Once selected, candidates participate in a multi-phase comprehensive training plan. These phases provide an opportunity to work in Services facilities, personnel, procurement, marketing, financial management, as well as actual supervisory responsibilities.

The Club Management Intern Program is 18 months at one of the core training sites and one year in an apprenticeship phase at another training location within the Air Force. Total length of training is 2 ½ years. Final placement will be as an assistant club manager or manager of an Air Force Club Signature Brand facility.
